Based in North West England, UK, McCoy Wynne is a commercial photography company with a strong reputation for supplying high quality, professional and creative photography to clients in the UK and internationally, including National Trust, University of Liverpool, Urban Slash and Mason Owen.

The challenge

McCoy Wynne approached Group Dane to develop a stylish new website to creatively display the company’s photography portfolio and improve search engine performance, along with developing a new brand identity, which would help to effectively position them in the market.

What we did


Working closely with McCoy Wynne, we developed a fresh brand identity, which effectively reflects the ethos of the company and helps to potion the company in the market. Our lead designer and UX team created a stylish and sophisticated website design, which our development team then crafted into a fully responsive website. The portfolio pages creatively display McCoy Wynne’s beautiful photography with intuitive and user-friendly functionality, while meticulous information architecture work ensures the portfolio and wider business offering is clearly contextualised.

Using Umbraco content management system, we developed a solution that is not only simple for the client to manage, but is also able to easily flex with the future requirements of the business.

Our copywriter, search and social media specialists developed a sustainable long-term plan to ensure the site is fully optimised for search and social performance.
