The client

Brotherman Label is an independent record company, based in the United Kingdom’s undisputed music capital, Liverpool.

The challenge

Group Dane was asked to creating a stylish website that reflects the label’s image and appeals to music industry professionals, artists and fans alike. Brotherman Label also asked us to come up with a way to allow artists and fans to interact with and contribute to the website in some way.

What we did


We created a fully responsive website, with a distinctively creative and edgy brand. We sent our photographer Anton off on trail that blazed both sides of the Atlantic, resulting in the beautifully enchanting images that form the backdrop of the website.

Our lead web developer, Louise, worked her magic to create an interactive element that allows artists and fans to post messages to the website via Twitter, while also displaying two-way conversations between Brotherman Label and the public.

We were looking for a dynamic website that had the “cool” factor, while performing an important function. The website has a number of different audiences, so we were worried about getting the balance right for each of them. Group Dane have been fantastic to work with and consistently go that extra mile to help us achieve our objectives.
